This year, 2021, is Vancouver Finlandia Club’s 50th Anniversary. Celebratory events are expected to mark the occasion.

Welcome to the Autumn of 2021! We are not quite ‘back to normal’, but things are opening up and we are looking forward to hosting some of our annual events (as best we can!). Scroll down for information on a Baking Class, the Scandinavian Craft Fair, and the Joulujuhla – Finnish Christmas Party.

Most of our events and activities are held at the Scandinavian Community Centre, and we follow the COVID-19 protocols set out by the SCCS COVID-19 Committee when we are using their space. Please visit https://scancentre.org/ for the latest information.

The Reflections book; a great gift idea.

Reflections of the Vancouver Finlandia Club(VFC) activities among Finns on the west coast of Canada 1971 – 2006. Their communal efforts helped new immigrants in finding their places in their new homeland and created many new and lasting friendships.

Uudet juuret – Uudet Tuulet kirja, välähdyksiä Vancouver Finlandia Clubin(VFC) toiminnasta vuosilta 1971 – 2006, on ilmestynyt.

Kirjan hinta / Price: $5.00
Käsittely ja postikulut / Shipping and handling: $25.00
(Kanada / Canada)
Yhteensä / Total: $ 30.00
